Room Parents

Room Parents are a key member of the Home School Association team. The room parents facilitate communication between the parents and the teacher and the Home School Association. Key responsibilities include communicating special event and volunteer information from the Home School Association to families, supporting the teacher with needs like arranging for volunteers for field trips or other special classroom related activities, in the younger grades arranging for snacks/activities for class holiday parties, collecting donations for holiday or teacher appreciation gifts, and as needed assisting the teacher with the assigned class gift for Lionheart.

Room parents are invited to join every Home School Association meeting. Room parents are lined up after the last day of school when homerooms are announced for the upcoming year.
